A Board Certified Chaplain and Ph.D. in English, Muriel Dance serves as the Executive Director of the Sandra Caplan Community Bet Din, a membership organization of 130 rabbis who provide a pluralistic path to conversion. She has previously served as a hospice chaplain at the Jewish Home. Prior to returning to LA for her chaplaincy training, she chaired the adult education committee at a Seattle congregation where she also taught Introduction to Judaism and Hebrew. She is inspired by the variety of paths people take to Judaism.
