Michael Kass (Founder, Center for Story & Spirit) is a Los Angeles based facilitator, coach, speaker, and award-winning storyteller passionate about helping people and organizations discover and harness the power of their stories to create change.

Michael's trainings on storytelling, speaking, mindfulness and breathwork have been featured at events hosted by The Walt Disney Company, Unique CAMP, The House of Beautiful Business, The Nomadic School of Wonder, The Well-Being Project, the Center for Nonprofit Management, NationBuilder, and many individual nonprofit and tech organizations. Michael's solo storytelling show, Ceremony_, has toured around the United States and garnered recognition including LA Weekly Pick of the Week and Best of Fringe at the San Francisco, Hollywood, and San Diego Fringe Festivals.

Michael is a graduate of Rice University and Northwestern University. He is an ACC coach certified by the International Coach Federation, a certified breathwork facilitator, and has completed Medicine Wheel training with Rites of Passage Vision Quest.

Michael is a mentor with the Creative Visions Foundation, the resident Storytelling Expert with The Wellbeing Project, a proud wondermaker with the Nomadic School of Wonder, and serves on the Board of Directors of the Breath Center. He also likes brownies maybe a little too much.
