Judy Weintraub

Judy Weintraub holds degrees in Special Education from the University of Southern California and in Psychology from UCLA. She is currently enrolled in the Chaplaincy program at the Academy for Jewish Religion, CA (AJRCA).

She lives with chronic renal failure for more than forty years, doing dialysis since age fifteen. As a health advocate, she is the recipient of several awards for her work in the renal field. Ms. Weintraub founded the Los Angeles Chapter of The American Association of Kidney Patients and served on its National Board of Directors. She has published numerous papers and presented extensively at both patient and professional conferences.

Ms. Weintraub produced and directed the documentary short titled Life On The Bridge, raising awareness of living life fully with chronic health issues. Her work and message can be explored on the website: lifeonthebridge.com .

She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and is the creator of the healthy food blog, bumbleberrybreeze.com .
