Special Souls Sharing Sacred Song: A joyous program of Music, Inspiration and Transformation

April 15, 2018 | 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Free

The Interfaith Alliance For Special Needs Families draws inspiration from a variety of Spiritual Principles.  Because the creator is a Jewish Clergyperson, Hebrew teachings play a prominent role.  Key amongst them are:  Ner L’Echad, Ner L’Meah: A candle for one becomes a light for a hundred. This is different and distinct from the prevailing clinical mindset heavily focused on data gathered from the many. Instead, we shift the focus toward healing one person at a time, with the impact spreading forth from there.  Also key is the biblical concept of Tzelem Elohim, that every human being, regardless of developmental challenge contains within them the gifts and spark of divinity.  This is different and distinct from the clinical mindset focused identifying, quantifying, and modifying deficiencies.  The spiritual paradigm is a Vision of Wholessness (VOW). Join us to learn about a Vision of Wholeness and how communities can embrace and enhance this vision for Special Needs Families.
