Bread & Salt – An Art Exhibit

The opening reception and lecture for this exhibit will take place on April 25th from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM. See that date on the website for details. From farm to table so too from Sinai to our synagogues what we eat and why we eat has impacted our people since the beginning of history.  Bread and Salt brings together numerous Jewish cultural sites throughout Southern California including Hebrew Union College-JIR, LA.  This exhibition series explores the contemporary, historic and ritual aspects about food through symposiums and creative place making.  Whether inspired by color, taste, texture, history, relevance, spirituality, environmentalism, social justice, or farming our artists and topic experts will deep participants salivating for more!
