Georgia Freedman-Harvey is the curator for the Platt/Borstein Galleries at American Jewish University. She also works with New Directions for Veterans bringing artists who are veterans together with the veterans at New Directions for an artist-in-residence program. She is curating one of the spring exhibitions that look at the arts in the military. AJU will host the exhibit Service: Art, Healing and the Military in the spring of 2015. Georgia has curated a number of exhibitions on the topic of art and healing; and was a recipient of a Picernce Foundation Artist-in-Residency grant to work with hospitalized teens. In addition Georgia oversees public and private art collections and lectures on how to document and prepare your artwork for the future.
