Shmirat Haguf Spa Day with MoHo WeHo
Saturday, April 28 | 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Shmirat Haguf is the Hebrew phrase for “Caring for the body.” Shmirat means “to care” or “to protect” and Haguf is “the body.” With so much stress nowadays, we sometimes forget to slow down and care for ourselves as it is written in the Torah.
This event will include different stations to experience and care for our bodies including yoga, chair massage, a DIY station where guests can apply a homemade facial mask, and make a body scrub they will be able to take home and share. Halfway through this event, all participants are invited to congregate for an introduction to the concept of Shmirat Haguf, and to pair off for text study and discussions on how they might incorporate Shmirat Haguf more through the rest of 2018 and beyond.
This program would be part of Moishe House West Hollywood . For young adults 22-32.
TICKETING IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS EVENT
