Offering Healing Prayers and Blessings for Each Other

Although traditional bikkur cholim visits end with prayers for healing, contemporary Jews often feel uncomfortable when offering or receiving prayers.  This session aims to empower individuals to offer prayers and blessings to help one another on their healing journey.

Together, we will explore rabbinic stories on the power of prayer and offer resources for prayers and healing texts from our tradition. We will dispel the mystique around offering healing prayers and blessings by learning what our tradition offers and practicing with one another in response to sharing our own stories during the workshop.

This workshop will help prepare individuals to offer healing prayers and blessings to their family, friends and community members.
